Wind-eze Information

What is Wind-eze and what is it used for?

Winde-eze is formulated to alleviate symptoms associated with stomach pain and bloating caused by trapped wind, achieved through the active ingredient simeticone. Simeticone, an anti-flatulence medication, works by gently dispersing the small bubbles of trapped wind without causing any embarrassment.

How to use Wind-eze

Please read the enclosed leaflet carefully before using this product

Adults and children aged 12 years and over: Swallow 1 capsule with a drink of water 3 or 4 times daily after meals and at bedtime as needed.

Not recommended for children under 12 years.

Do not exceed the stated dose.

Active ingredients

Each capsule contains Simeticone 125mg (activated Dimeticone).

Other ingredients: Gelatin, Glycerol, Titanium dioxide (E171) and Purified water.

Wind-eze side effects

This medicinal product contains glycerol which is harmful in high doses. It is possible that this may cause a headache, stomach upset and diarrhoea.

Wind-eze warnings

Not recommended for children under 12 years

Do not take Wind-eze Gel Caps:

if you are allergic to simeticone or any of the other ingredients (see ingredients).

if you use mineral oil (paraffin) based laxatives.

if you are under 12 years.

Take special care with Wind-eze Gel Caps:

If symptoms persist for more than 14 days, or if symptoms worsen, medical advice must be sought.

Do not store above 25C

Do not use this medicine after the 'EXP' date shown on the pack.

Keep all medicines out of the sight and reach of children.

This is a medicine; Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have an underlying medical condition, are taking any other medication or complementary therapy, or if symptoms persist.

Seek advice before using if you are breastfeeding, pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or suffering from allergies.
